Cancellation Policy For Hair Services:
48-24 hour notice is required for cancellations and reschedules. All appointments cancelled with less than 48- 24 hour notice will be charged.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time with clients on my waiting list.
I request at least 48- 24 hours notice prior to cancelling and rescheduling appointments.
Late cancel fee is $25 in order to rebook you must pay the late fee before being able to book your next appointment.
No show will no longer be able to book a future appointment.
I do my best to work with you in case of emergencies, as I do understand that issues come up unexpectedly.
A CONTRACT will be signed by the person booking services for a particular session, and will specify the location, date, time, number of persons receiving beauty services, and what time each person will have reserved. If services for more than one person are being booked, all deposits must be paid at the time of contract signing to guarantee each reservation. Due to the possibility of schedule conflicts or additional appointments added after contract signing, changes made to the location and time of event will be done at my discretion. This contract is the only agreement between the person(s) booking and I.
- Contract/ Fee Details:
- A signed contract is required for all weddings to secure desired wedding date.
- A non-refundable deposit is due to hold the wedding day.
- There will be a deposit fee of $100 for hair services (with or without makeup). There will be a deposit fee of $100 for makeup services only. The fee will be applied to the bride’s services the day of wedding. Deposits can be made by cash.
- Contract and deposit is due within 10 DAYS of being issued. If a contract is not received within the 10 days, it is possible for another wedding to be booked on the desired date. Contracts can be emailed.
- A completed contract will confirm and commit the bride/bridal party to pay in full on the wedding day for each service listed on contract.
THE DEPOSIT is to be paid at the time of the contract signing. Only after paying the $100 deposit is your appointment reserved. I accept deposit payments via Venmo. Deposits are non-refundable.
PAYMENT: The final balance is due on the day of the event before services start as one payment – no exceptions. The person responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person who has signed the booking contract. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, Venmo or credit card. If Credit Card a $10 service fee will be added to the final amount due.
BOOKINGS: To secure a date, a signed contract is required with a deposit due at the time of signing. The deposit is determined by the total amount due and is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled beauty services time will only be reserved when a signed contract and deposit are received.
BOOKING TIMES: Contract will contain a start time that will be approved and signed by the client. Each service requires a certain length of time to be finished. When reserving your date, book accordingly. All persons involved in service appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment in order to not break the contract. All applications for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive in time.
EARLY CALL TIMES: A $25 fee will be incurred for booked appointment times before 8:00 a.m. This includes if travel time must be started before 8 a.m. Any appointment times needing to be booked at 6 a.m. or earlier will incur a $30 fee. Appointments needed at 5 a.m. or earlier are subject to additional fees and will be determined by the nature of the event. This fee is per client.
CALL TIMES AFTER 6PM: Any appointments that are booked at or after 6pm will incur a $25 fee. This fee is per client. If my availability is limited to or after 6pm, this fee will not apply.
SUNDAY APPOINTMENTS: Appointments made on Sunday will incur a $25 fee.
DELAYS: A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if scheduled beauty service exceeds allotted time because of client delays. A late fee amount will be charged and will be approved by the person booking services, and signed by client. Your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy are greatly appreciated.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: If your event or photoshoot is postposed because of inclement weather, the deposit paid can be transferred within two weeks. The date is subject to my availability.
CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENT BY CLIENT: In the event the client cancels the appointment, the client will lose the deposit.
CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENT BY ARTIST : If I am unable to perform my duties because of an emergency, 100% of the deposit will be refunded by the original form of payment.
CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENT BY ARTIST (2) : I reserve the right to cancel an appointment if the client delays 30 minutes or more. Because I travel to each of my clients, it is imperative that we start services at our scheduled time. Cancellation will happen only if your delay puts me at risk for being late for my client following your appointment time. Otherwise, I will complete services and a $30 late fee will be incurred.
TRIAL : A trial service is mandatory for all brides. It is the responsibility of the bride to book the wedding date to ensure artist availability.
WEDDING PARTY CANCELLATIONS: If a person in the wedding party decides to cancel their appointment, the total amount of their service is due on the wedding day.
SERVICE LOCATION NEEDS: Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client. A “set up” table/work area and a electric outlet will be needed to complete services.
TRAVEL FEE: A travel fee will be charged for some locations. The amount will be determined at the time of the booking inquiry.
TRAVEL ACCOMMODATIONS: All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but are not limited to transportation, parking, airfare, hotel, and taxes.
LIABILITY: Any skin conditions or allergies should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application. Client(s) agree to release myself, Angela Moceri, AM Style by Design Inc. from liability for any skin/ hair complications due to allergic reactions.
